The Department of Science and Technology VI (DOST VI) conducted a gender sensitivity webinar entitled, “Gender Sensitivity: Breaking Barriers through Inclusivity and Understanding Different Forms of Abuse”.

Ms. Ana Marie Trabado, GAD resource speaker, led the discussion during the program. She discussed concepts related to gender inclusivity, basic GAD and sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC).

The webinar was the first session of the Gender Sensitivity Series prepared by the DOST VI Gender and Development (GAD) Program. A total of 50 participants attended the webinar, 14 of whom were men and 36 were women.
