DOST VI joins hands with Iloilo PDRRMO in 6th DRRM Forum

The Department of Science and Technology Region VI’s (DOST VI) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Unit (DRRMU) took part in the 6th Forum on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management spearheaded by the Iloilo Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (Iloilo PDRRMO). The forum was hosted by the municipality of Mina.

The primary goal of the forum was to boost DRRM resilience in the province. With this, the recently constructed Mina Evacuation Center was inaugurated and an evacuation drill simulation was conducted. Active responders during tropical cyclone Agaton were also recognized and awarded certificates during the forum.
