Lorenzo Farm avails DOST consultancy on Basic Productivity, Food Product Development
The DOST VI implements its consultancy programs to Lorenzo Farm, a chocolate manufacturing firm owned by Mr. Rogelia Daduya and Mrs. Yurie Daduya in Iloilo last July 27, 2022. The initial onsite assessment was conducted by the two consultants, Engr. Nestor Padilla for Basic Productivity Management and Mr. Adrian Alumbro for the Food Product Development. The onsite assessment was facilitated by Mr. Jan Renzel L. Tengco and Ms. Janene L. Denila from the Iloilo Provincial Science and Technology Center.
The consultancy on Basic Productivity and Food Product Development are part of the new programs offered under the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) 4.0. These can help the client optimize their production efficiency and effectively improve quality and shelf-life of their chocolate products as they upgrade equipment procured with assistance from the SETUP-Innovation Fund (iFund) program.
The engagement is expected to last for about 6 months wherein the consultant will provide findings and detailed recommendations through their consultancy reports and manuals for firm’s consideration and reference.(KJRGagajena/DOSTVI-KMU)
