SM Prime with DOST launches its sustainability and resilience initiatives mall exhibit

With the theme, “Connecting Today to Tomorrow”, SM Prime Holdings, Inc. in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) recently launched its sustainability and resilience initiatives mall exhibit in SM City Iloilo.

DOST VI Regional Director Engr. Rowen R. Gelonga joined the launching event and shared his thoughts on the importance of sustainability and resilience in today’s world highlighting DOST’s initiatives for the Filipino public. He further mentioned that DOST initiatives are not only focused on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management but also address Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as poverty alleviation, hunger, and malnutrition, sustainable cities, among others.

In concluding his message, RD Gelonga expressed DOST’s commitment to support current and future sustainability and resilience initiatives of SM Prime as well as of other organizations.

The mall exhibit will run until April 24 at the Northpoint Event Center in SM City Iloilo.
