DOST VI has been implementing the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) as a nationwide strategy to address the needs and requirements of the micro, small and medium enterprises.  Presently, the program has been moved to a new phase of implementation referred to as SETUP 2.0 which will include a wider range of science and technology solutions to address the dramatic changes in today’s business landscape such as the emergence if industry 4.0, climate change, global migration, health crisis and the changing, social and political environments.

A three-day virtual focus group discussion (FGD) for the preparation of a situation analysis was conducted. Significant insights were gathered such as opinions and preferences of key players of the industry about important issues concerning the sector/commodity. (SSalazar/DOST VI)
