To enhance the learning experiences of Senior High School (SHS) students, the Department of Science and Technology Region VI (DOST VI) formalized its partnership with Ramon Avanceña National High School (RANHS) through a ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held on December 19, 2024.

Under this collaboration, DOST VI will provide its facilities, project sites, and technical expertise to SHS students participating in the Work Immersion Program. This initiative aims to equip students with practical knowledge, relevant skills, and first-hand exposure to real workplace settings, aligning with the course specialization requirements of the STEM program.

Representing the two institutions during the MOA signing were DOST VI Regional Director Engr. Rowen R. Gelonga and RANHS OIC-Principal Ms. Lory H. Noquera.

This partnership serves as a testament to DOST VI’s commitment to science, technology, and innovation by supporting education and workforce development by bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practice, ultimately preparing students for future career opportunities.
