PORTASOLs deployed to farmers’ assoc.

Three units of PORTASOLs were deployed by the Antique Provincial Science and Technology Center (PTSC) personnel to the Alangan United Farmers’ Association (Alangan UFA).

The equipment deployment is part of the project dubbed ““Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) in Selected Communities in Region VI” by the Department of Science and Technology CEST (DOST CEST) program where the Alangan UFA is one of the beneficiaries of the project’s livelihood component. Part of the project is to deploy PORTASOLs to selected beneficiaries across Western Visayas. Meanwhile, Aklan AIMCoop serves as the Implementing Agency.

Furthermore, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is between the DOST VI and the Alangan UFA is yet to be signed.
