Yanah Crafts Global Trading based in Malinao, Aklan avails of the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) fund assistance through the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program 4.0 Innovation-Enabling Fund (SETUP 4.0-iFund).

Yanah Crafts manufactures abaca- and raffia-based products like fibers, hats, bags and slippers. Through SETUP 4.0-iFund, Yanah Crafts aims to scale up production by eliminating manual and outsourced processes.  Sales and production volume are expected to increase through the project.

With this, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was recently signed to formalize the partnership between both parties
