The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) officially opens its Space Science and Technology Applications (SSTA) Exhibit at SM City Iloilo today, September 9.
The exhibit features various technologies in the field of space science and its applications such as the satellite cameras and replicas, satellite orbits, near-infrared imagery, and others.
DOST Region VI along with other government offices and private institutions supported the opening SSTA exhibit. In attendance during the opening program are Dr. Naomi Cossette R. Luis, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Operations of DOST Region VI, Dr. Gabriel Salistre, President of the Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U), Dr. Rovel Salcedo from Department of Education (DepEd) Region VI, Ms. Maria Mathilde G. Trenas, Special Assistant to the Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas, and Ms. Lenbe N. Robles, Asst. Mall Manager of SM City Iloilo.
The exhibit will be open to the public from September 9 to 11, 2024 at the SM City Iloilo Events Center.
