First public training for food establishments in Antique kicks off
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) VI Antique Provincial Science and Technology Office (PSTO) conducted the first Food Safety Public Training for Food Establishments in Patnongon, Antique on March 6, 2024. This initiative aimed to prioritize the health of students and staff at Aureliana National High School and Elementary School.
Mr. Charles Feb Q. Palla, Science Research Specialist II, led the training which was attended by food establishment operators, vendors, school nurses, faculty, and instructional staff. Through interactive discussions and administration of pre- and post-training assessments, participants gained valuable insights into food safety protocols.
The initiative seeks to cultivate a sense of responsibility and accountability among individuals involved in food services, ensuring the safety and quality of food products distributed within the school and community. (TFBYnion/Antique PSTO)
