Barbara Amang Glass Aluminum Shop and Iron Works Owner graduates SETUP iFund Program

Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program – Innovation Enabling Fund (SETUP iFund) Barbara Amang Glass Aluminum Shop and Iron Works in Guimaras recently concluded the program’s project dubbed “Product and Process Improvement for Barbara Amang Glass Aluminum Shop and Iron Works”.

Firm owner Devilla Joy B. Pestaño was subsequently granted Certificate of Ownership and Transfer of Ownership upon the project’s completion.

The project commenced on July 2017 and ran until June 2018. However, the firm started doing refund obligation starting July 2018 and finished on May 2022.

As part of the project, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) provided equipment acquisition support which entailed acquiring Inverter Type Welding Machine, Miter Saw, Angle Grinder, Cut-off Machine, Electric Drill, and Aluminum Puncher.

Barbara Amang Glass Aluminum Shop and Iron Works specializes in fabrication and installation of sliding windows, doors, curtain walls, window grills, steel gates, steel trusses, stainless railings, and other glass and metal works.

It was established in 2005 as a single proprietorship but is actually a family-run firm managed by Dominador Barbara, Pestaño’s father.(KRJGagajena/DOSTVI-KMU)
