RMIce Roxas undergoes DOST online training on Food Safety, cGMP
RMIce Roxas OPC owner, Rector Jose Isada, and its staff attended an online training on Food Safety and current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conducted by DOST Capiz Provincial S&T Center (PSTC). The training was requested by the firm to comply with their Food and Drug Administration (FDA) License to Operate (LTO) application.
Resource persons for the training were both experts from DOST VI, Ms. Juafe Abareles and Mr. Jan Renzel Tengco. Ms. Abareles presented the five (5) key elements for cGMP which are people, premises, processes, products, and procedures while Mr. Tengco discussed the basic principles on how to prevent foodborne illnesses.
