DOST Western Visayas proudly extends its warmest congratulations to our distinguished scholar-alumnus who secured a top spot in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on December 18, 2025.

Prince Nickole N. Zacarias, a DOST-SEI R.A. 10612 scholar-graduate from Aklan State University, achieved an outstanding milestone by placing 10th in the Secondary Level, earning an impressive rating of 93.00%.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the quality of teacher education in Western Visayas and reflects the dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence consistently demonstrated by our DOST-SEI scholars. It likewise underscores the noble calling of teaching as a profession that shapes future generations.

By supporting brilliant minds like Prince Nickole, DOST, through its SEI scholarship programs, continues to bridge the gap between scientific expertise and classroom instruction, ensuring that the next generation of Filipino students is guided by the country’s best. We invite aspiring scholars and students to see this achievement as a call to excellence, proving that with OneDOST4U, we are not just funding education, but empowering future leaders who will drive our nation’s progress through science, technology, and dedicated service.
