The Alangan United Farmers’ Association (Alangan UFA) in Sibalom, Antique was granted 1 unit 4-wheeled tractor through a project by the Department of Science and Technology VI (DOST VI) and the University of Antique (UA).

A turn-over ceremony was recently held in Brgy. Alangan. In attendance were Engr. Eleazer Salvador T. Moscoso, DOST Antique Provincial Science and Technology Director (PSTD), Dr. Pablo S. Crespo, Jr., UA President, members of Alangan UFA, DOST VI staff and UA faculty.

With the deployment of the tractor, the farmers will also be given technical training on the proper use of the equipment.

The project was realized through funding support from DOST’s Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) Program. (DOST VI-KMU)
