DOST VI joins TAPI’s Stakeholders’ Forum and Caravan in Leyte
The Department of Science and Technology Region VI (DOST VI) took part in the DOST Stakeholders’ Forum and Caravan held in Ormoc City, Leyte. The activity is part of the Technology Application and Promotion Institute’s (TAPI) Institutional Support for Technology Exposition’s (ISTE) promotional activity.
Dubbed “DOST Stakeholders’ Forum and Caravan: Bringing S&T Closer to the People ‘Lakbay Teknolohiya para kay Juan at Juana’”, the event was held to showcase DOST-generated technologies and products of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) beneficiaries of DOST’s various programs and services.A total of 14 DOST-assisted products hailing from Western Visayas were exhibited during the caravan including the following: Einar’s Natural Food Export, Al Di Foods, CBT Local Coffee Philippines, Inc., and the Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC) from Iloilo; G&G Foods and Kitzsteinhorn Food Production from Guimaras; Filbake Corporation and Sr. Alfred Crafts from Aklan; Herbanext Laboratories, Inc. from Negros Occidental; Lorna’s Processed Food Manufacturing/ Eugenio Dalida, Jr. amd Gicrafts Shell Museum & Gallery Genie O.
